Released 5/2000 - A research report series from The Institute for Metropolitan Affairs at Roosevelt University for the Asian American Institute. This ground-breaking report series offers a first-ever description of the Chicago region's Asian American population. The first four reports highlight Civic Participation, Health Care, Income Security, Neighborhood Life and Social Attitudes in the Asian American community.

Released 3/2000 - In January 2000, survey questionnaires were mailed out to Illinois Senators, Constitutional Officers, the Cook County Board President and State's Attorney, the Chicago Mayor, and other officials whose Asian American constituents represented 5% or more of their districts. In February 2000, the Asian American Institute convened a nonpartisan, ethnically diverse panel of Asian American community leaders to assess the officials' responses and prepare report cards.

Released 05/1998 - AAI examined the most recent data available from the following sources: the "Job Patterns for Minorities & Women in Private Industry, 1995" report by the U.S. EEOC, the State of Illinois Code departments' personnel data collected by the Illinois CMS, and the "Sex & Race Breakdown Comparison" report produced by the City of Chicago Department of Personnel.
